From Negative to positive
Outsiders, people that don't fit in, but by whom's choice? I have found that there are two types of outsiders, the negative outsider and the possitive outsider. Neither of them belong to the rest of the popullation, neither of them are content with following everyone else, and neither of them will ever be. Their sole purpose in life is to be different to shock people, to show the world they haven't seen before because they are always "inside".

Let me explain to you the negative outsider. I used to consider myself a negative outsider for the majority of my life. I acknoledged it, I embraced it, and even became empowered by it. A negative outsider finds ways to shake the establishment and that's it! Once the wall is broke, what then? we just stand in the ruins and complain about how these stones are good for nothing? well that's what the negative outsider does, over and over again. He is only about hurt and hurt only. Hurt for the people around him, hurt for those close to him, but worst of all, hurt for himself, above all. Being this type of outsider led me to drug addiction and just an empty unfulfilled life, hopelessly spinning around in bottomless vaccuum. I've hurt my family, lost friends and lovers, but worst of all, I have made substantial damage to my life, so much that the thought of suicide began to spin around in my head. I had to do something to change this.

Then I stumbled upon those who had gone through similar situations, and instead of doing damage to themselves, they actually did something good for those around them and then some. People like gandhi, like Lincoln, like Martin Luther king jr., Like columbus, like that person that has given you a candle of hope in this dark void that we call life. Those people weren't "in", they didn't do what everyone was doing....not everyone discovered america! not everyone whent up to the moon, not everyone can go and help somebody else this day, but there is a few that do and have. These great people think outside the box, they don't go with the norm, these people are positive outsiders.

I've found many ways in which people can better themselves. We don't have to be machines, we don't have to have a boss, we can live today not in fourty years, but TODAY! We have the oppurtunity to be our own rulers, our own keepers of our destiny. You might wander why I say we, instead of me, and that's because in order for me to have my dreams is to help you find yours.
