The combination of the two signifies balance of insanity. A full circle of self-harm and deception, "nothing is real". Death, would be a saving grace, but it'll be to easy to just make it stop. It's hard to wake up and try to live, knowing that every night finishes with betrayal. So what the hell, let's put this to an end.
